Nikka is a yoga instructor, LMU Graduate with her C-IAYT as a Yoga Therapist, Pilates instructor, professional dancer and dance teacher, fitness instructor, choreographer, model, and influencer. Nikka began her yoga journey at age 16 to assist with dance injuries and being diagnosed with general anxiety disorder, depression, and self-harm. She fell in love with the practice as a way of life and became a certified instructor at age 18. Nikka graduated from UW Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts with a major in Dance and a minor in Somatics. Nikka has worked over 16 years teaching yoga, dance, and fitness both publicly and privately. Nikka is certified in Qi-Gong, Yoga Therapy for Children with Autism and Special Needs Levels 1&2, and has studied Alexander Technique in depth, as well as developmental movement, Feldenkrais, Laban Movement Analysis, Tai Chi, acrobatics, and martial arts. Nikka is part of the University of Southern California Dornslife yoga teacher training faculty as a Hatha Yoga Instructor and Asan model. Nikka also currently co-teaches a Yoga Therapy for Autism and Special Needs course at Loyola Marymount University. Nikka recently spent time teaching yoga, dance, fitness, and yoga therapy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Nikka is passionate about sharing yoga and movement as a way of healing and living a beautiful, graceful, and integrated life.
